OUR STORY
Nearly 50 years ago, our founder - a young girl who fled the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia - arrived in America with nothing but determination and hope.
Starting from scratch in a new country, she built Banaka with the belief that hard work, integrity, and care for people would always come first. What began as a small operation has grown into a trusted supplier of high-quality bags, serving customers nationwide.
Her journey from refugee to entrepreneur is woven into every product we make, a reminder that resilience, craftsmanship, and service can create something lasting.
